MathStudents continue to work on strategies for finding GCF and LCM. Notes from today's class can be seen below along with tonight's homework. ScienceStudents Completed their Flower Dissection Lab Reports and started working on their projects for Disabilities Awareness Month. Our class has decided to run a campaign to help raise awareness of student's with disabilities and the things that they can do rather then what they can't do.

MathWe are learning different strategies for finding the Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple of two numbers. The strategy we learned today can be seen below. Students should have notes pertaining to the subject as well as access to the new Blend-space which contains important information and direction. HomeroomParents, Due to the guidelines and limits placed on tour groups by the Biltmore House, each homeroom will only be able to take one parent chaperone in addition to the Homeroom Teacher. I apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may have caused your family. In order to be fair, the first parent who responded AND paid for themselves will be representing our classroom. Again, I am sorry for your and your child's disappointment. MathToday in Math, students worked on materials that they did not complete in class last week. Students needing remediation in any decimal functions or division spent one-on-one time with Mrs. Eisenhofer or Mrs. Griffith. Tomorrow, students will be taking and assessment on 6.NS.2 and 6.NS.3. Any students wishing to find additional practice opportunities this evening can complete the assigned tasks in Ten Marks for these units. ScienceStudents continue to complete assignments involving the reproduction and defense of plants and living organisms. Tomorrow, students will have an open notebook quiz based on their notes and materials from the first unit.

ScienceStudents are completing activities to help with understanding of the function of living organisms.
