Students will need to continually review their clue words for the operations of math (+, -, x, ÷). While in class we are also going back and practicing the material we worked on in the beginning of the year. Tonights homework is pictured below. Science:Today was Gateway Thursday. We dedicated today's science class to reading the resources we found and taking notes. It is a long and arduous process, but it will help us tremendously when it is time to write our papers. Parents, ask you student to tell you about what they are researching and the interesting facts they learned by researching and reading about their topics.

Math:Today in math we reviewed Algebra concepts. Students took notes, played a matching game to help them gain a better understanding of the algebra terms we will be using on a regular basis. Finally, we started IXL X.6 in class. If students did not complete it to an 80% in class, it is now homework. A grade will be taken for this activity tomorrow morning. Science:The Science topic for this week is Chemical vs. Physical change. The anchor chart below contains material that students will need to know, and should be placed in their journals or interactive port folios.
